Modern Slavery Statement

Last updated 5 August 2026

Our commitment

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and to putting effective systems in place to guard against slavery and human trafficking occurring anywhere in our business or supply chain.

This statement is published voluntarily in the spirit of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We currently fall below the statutory turnover threshold, and we publish it because we believe the expectation should apply regardless of size.

Our business and supply chain

Incorporated Scotland is a small, UK-based software business providing a subscription platform built on public company register data. We do not manufacture goods and we do not operate in sectors typically associated with a high risk of forced labour.

Our supply chain consists mainly of cloud hosting and database infrastructure, software development tooling, AI model providers, payment processing and professional services. The principal residual risks sit further down the technology supply chain, in areas such as hardware manufacturing and data centre construction and facilities work.

Due diligence and expectations

We favour established suppliers with published human rights and modern slavery positions, and we review those positions before entering significant agreements. We expect our suppliers to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, to pay lawful wages, to prohibit forced, bonded and child labour, and to hold their own suppliers to equivalent standards.

We will terminate relationships with suppliers who are found to be in breach and who fail to remediate.

Our own people

Everyone working with us has the right to work in the UK, is paid at or above the relevant statutory minimum, works under a written agreement, and is free to leave. We do not use unpaid work trials, we do not withhold identity documents, and we do not use recruitment intermediaries that charge fees to workers.

Raising a concern

Anyone who suspects that modern slavery or human trafficking is connected to our business or supply chain is encouraged to report it to us. Concerns can be raised confidentially and will be investigated without any detriment to the person who raises them. Serious concerns should also be reported to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.

Review

This statement is reviewed annually and updated as our business and supply chain change.
